Wendy Van Sickle

Born and raised in the Midwest, Wendy Van Sickle (she/her), moved to the PNW in 2016 and enjoys finding new opportunities to enjoy and explore this region of the country.

She worked as an Emergency Medical Technician in Illinois for just under 10 years before becoming a Physical Therapist Assistant in 2016. Her initial interest in the healthcare field stems from a strong sense of compassion and empathy while helping people maintain, if not improve, their quality of life. She has a strong desire to build positive, nurturing relationships with people of all backgrounds while providing them with a safe space to work toward decreasing pain and increasing function.

In their free time, she and her husband enjoy road trips, festivals, and hanging out by the water or in the mountains. Both she and her husband are avid Seattle Thunderbirds fans and are proud season ticket holders for the team. She also enjoys rock painting, scrapbooking, and reading.
