What does CCEP mean?

Both Dr. Nichols and I have the abbreviations DC and CCEP behind our name but most people do not know what that means. DC, of course is doctor of chiropractic. CCEP is certified chiropractic extremity practitioner. So what does that mean? That means we have had additional training in evaluating and treating the extremities of the body such as the knee, shoulder, feet, and TMJ to name a few. When necessary, we also refer out to the appropriate specialist or refer for additional imaging needed to diagnose.

This is exciting since most people have experienced pain or dysfunction in their extremities at some point in their life. While it is true the pain usually subsides, there is often dysfunction left in the joint or soft tissue that was injured. Chiropractic adjustments to the extremities can help restore function and help improve healing, strength, and prevent future injuries.

Here at Northwest Wellness, your spine and extremities are important to us and can be evaluated and treated. Come on in with any questions you may have or schedule an appointment today
