Had our first TRX Suspension class last week with an awesome turn out of audience which were mostly staff. During this class, we were testing out the space that we have in the backroom and how many people we can fit there safely. With a little rearranging of the equipment such as the exercise bike, the cart of exercise balls and wobble boards, and some of the Swiss balls, we were able to accommodate 7 people including the instructor.
During this class, people were sweating and breathing hard as we did exercise using your own body weight. Feeling those calories burn is what we were shooting for. Every one enjoyed it and will definitely do it again next week.
I love the idea of the group fitness class in the office because it will help people get exercise in right before they go home for the day. Since we can get caught up in the adynamic lifestyle of caring for others at work and going home afterwards that we can easily lose sight of our own health.
